On one faithful morning of March 2013 ; during my university days , i was meant to go for One of those early morning Lectures.
For some reason , my phone's alarm couldn't sound ; and i never informed anyone in the house that i had to wake early to prepare for a Class, It was not Until 6:00 that my brain clicked.

and i awoke and realized i was several minutes late.
Quickly , i picked my soft-bristled toothbrush , applied my pink-gelled paste ; brushing just for 68 secs. ; instead of my usual 75 secs ; because of time..

I entered the bathroom, took a not-too-hot water bath ; then hurried out.
The weather at that moment was free ; hence there was little chance of rain (So i thought),I took my bag; full of books and off i went.
I hadn't walked less than 62 secs. ; that heavy drops of rain started pouring on me.
Quickly, i took to my heels , until i got to a waiting tricycle and entered , but i hadn't escaped it just yet..
The driver ; it seemed did not fix any sort of covering or rain shade on his tricycle.
By the time i got to Secretariat (not far from Police children school ) , my clothes had almost soaked ; I crossed to the other side ; all wet to the taxi area.
But as i expected.... None wanted to carry me , since my clothes were all dripping water

I waited and waited patiently ...under the rain (which had got heavier by then) ; until a certain bus heading towards the University decided to give me a lift.

On getting to school, it had already passed 8am , and any hope of getting to class on time was dashed ; but still i insisted and headed straight for the Lecture hall....On getting there; i got the shock disappointing news of my life.

The Professor had gone for a General Board meeting , and hence his lecture would not go on for that day.

So disappointed i was, after hearing such ; that i left without altering a single word ; by then i had realized that my getting wet under rain just to make it to school ; was all for nothing; through out that day ; i slept....feeling all feverish and cold.
